About

The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) of Shree Dnyanraj Mauli Shikshan Seva Mandal’s Achievers College of Commerce & Management, Kalyan is established to ensure fairness, inclusivity, and equal access to opportunities for all students and staff members.

The Cell works to prevent discrimination based on caste, gender, religion, disability, socio-economic background, language, or any other identity. It promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive academic environment in alignment with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and the Government of India.

The EOC ensures that every student receives equal opportunities in academics, co-curricular activities, scholarships, and institutional facilities.

Aims & Objectives

Aims:

To promote equality, inclusiveness, and social justice within the institution.
To ensure non-discrimination in admission, evaluation, scholarships, and participation.
To support students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Minority, Divyang (PwD), and other marginalized groups.

Objectives:

To create awareness about equal rights and constitutional provisions.
To address grievances related to discrimination or unequal treatment.
To recommend corrective measures to the management.
To ensure implementation of government and UGC guidelines regarding equal opportunity.
To conduct workshops, seminars, and awareness programs.
To maintain records of complaints and actions taken.
