About EDC

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is a student-oriented initiative established to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and start-up culture among students. The cell aims to develop entrepreneurial skills and mind-set by providing a supportive platform where students can explore ideas, gain practical exposure, and transform innovative concepts into viable business ventures. EDC encourages students to become self-reliant, creative thinkers and future job creators.

Objectives of EDC

  1. To cultivate an entrepreneurial mind-set among students
  2. To promote innovation, creativity and problem-solving skills
  3. To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices
  4. To provide training in business planning, start-up management and leadership
  5. To support students in idea generation, validation and venture creation
  6. To encourage risk-taking, decision-making and strategic thinking
  7. To organise “Dnyan Yagya” series of lectures inviting successful entrepreneurs
