Committee List – Achievers College of Commerce and Management

Introduction

The Unfair Means Inquiry Committee of Achievers College is constituted to ensure fairness, transparency, and discipline during examinations conducted by the college. The Committee is authorized to take appropriate disciplinary action against any student or staff member found involved in misconduct or unfair practices during examinations.

The Committee functions in accordance with the procedures and guidelines prescribed by the University of Mumbai under Ordinance 5050. After examining the nature and seriousness of the malpractice, the Committee determines and recommends the appropriate quantum of punishment to the Principal.

Objectives of the Unfair Means Inquiry Committee

To investigate reported cases of students or staff involved in unfair means during examinations.
To ensure a transparent, fair, and unbiased inquiry process in accordance with University rules.
To review evidence and recommend appropriate action(s) to the Principal in confirmed cases of malpractice.
To counsel students found involved in unfair practices and guide them to maintain academic integrity in future examinations, thereby preventing severe disciplinary consequences.
