Aim :
The primary aim of the library is to develop and nurture a healthy reading culture at all levels. It seeks to:

• Disseminate knowledge across various subjects.
• Implement and manage the Book Bank Scheme.
• Collect and preserve valuable academic records and research materials.
• Promote library services through book displays, seminars, and educational events.
• Work towards complete library automation.

Objectives :

• To provide students and teachers with access to a wide range of resources, including books, journals, and internet facilities.
• To support academic and research activities effectively.

Library Goals :
Teachers, students, and librarians work collaboratively to promote effective teaching and learning. The library aims to:

• Provide access to carefully selected print and electronic resources based on academic requirements.
• Inform and assist teachers in identifying and developing new learning resources.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding available library resources.
• Ensure proper planning, supervision, and effective use of library facilities.
• Promote information literacy and research skills among students.

Access to Library and Resources :

• Both teachers and students have equal access to the library during working hours.
• Students and staff may conduct research using internet facilities available in the library.
• Computer usage will be supervised by authorized library staff.

• Resources are organized in accordance with university guidelines.

Library Rules :
The library encourages all students to use its resources responsibly and effectively.

Students are required to follow these rules:

• Maintain silence inside the library.
• Handle books and other materials carefully.
• Show respect to library staff and maintain discipline.
• Follow all library rules and procedures.
• Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited.
• Keep the library premises clean and tidy.
• Return furniture to its original place after use.
• Only notebooks are allowed inside the library; other personal items are not permitted.
