Vice Principal & HOD

Ms. Sophia A. D’souza is an academician and administrator with significant experience in higher education and institutional leadership. She is the Vice Principal and HOD – Department of Management Studies. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from the University of Mumbai and holds a M.Com (Business Management), PGDM in HR & Marketing, B.Ed., and B.Com from the University of Mumbai. She has experience in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has extensive experience in academic administration and teaching, having served as In-charge Principal, Vice Principal, Head of Department, and Lecturer. She has corporate exposure in the HR Department at Dentsu Aegis Media Pvt. Ltd. and at Bakers Street – Sarjena Foods Pvt. Ltd.

She has actively engaged in research with several publications in UGC-listed and peer-reviewed journals. She has delivered guest lectures and webinars at various colleges on subjects such as Human Resource Management, Corporate Communication, Management Principles, and Personal Branding. Her academic expertise include Human Resource Management, Workplace Mental Health, Marketing and Digital Transformation in Business. Through her teaching, research, and leadership roles, she remains committed to enhancing student development, academic quality, and institutional growth.

Department of Commerce (HOD)

Asst. Prof. Sana Khan is the Vice Principal, Head of Department, and IQAC Coordinator at Achievers College of Commerce & Management, Kalyan. She is UGC-NET and Maharashtra SET qualified and has an MMS (Finance), and M.Com (Advanced Accountancy) from the University of Mumbai. She has experience in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has expertise in Accounting, Commerce and Entrepreneurship. She is also a Guest Faculty at the Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED) where she guides aspiring entrepreneurs. In her role as IQAC Coordinator, she drives NAAC-related quality and institutional advancements to promote sustained academic quality. She is a paper setter, moderator, and examiner at the University of Mumbai and has research publications in well-known national and international journals. Her combination of institutional leadership, research, and academic quality is an asset to the Commerce Education sector.

Department of Mass Media (HOD)

Asst.Prof. Saurabh Ojha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media (BMM) and a Postgraduate qualification in Integrated Marketing and Advertising. He began his professional journey as a Copywriter, working on creative campaigns and brand communication. Later, he transitioned into journalism, gaining experience in research-based reporting and socially relevant storytelling. As a professor, he combines industry experience with academic knowledge, focusing on practical learning, critical thinking, and preparing students for dynamic careers in media, marketing, and journalism.

Department of Science (IT/CS) (HOD)

Mr. Santosh Patilshirke holds a strong academic background with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology. He brings with him over 16 years of rich teaching experience in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology, contributing significantly to both undergraduate and postgraduate education. He has served as a University Paper Setter for Mumbai University at the M.Sc. level, setting examination papers for advanced and contemporary subjects such as Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Simulation and Modelling, Advanced Database Systems, Machine Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Business Intelligence & Big Data Analytics, Cyber and Information Security, Ubiquitous Computing, Analysis of Algorithms, and Research in Computing. In addition, Mr. Santosh Patilshirke has also been a Paper Setter for the TYB.Sc. Computer Science programme, contributing to subjects including Architecting of Internet of Things (IoT) and Linux Server Administration.
